The year 2015 will witness new changes to the chemical substance management in Taiwan, resulted from the newly amended Toxic Chemical Substances Control Act (TCSCA) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). Effective from 11 Dec 2014, Taiwan’s new and existing chemical registration regulation will present some major challenges for the industry. This seminar examines the regulatory landscape companies must traverse to be successful in Taiwan’s market. It looks closely at the data requirements for chemical registration, addresses some common concerns, and provides practical tips for potential registrants.

Owning the Bachelor’s degree in the Department of Agricultural Chemistry of Taiwan National University and the Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering Research Institution of Taiwan National University, Ms. Yahui Ni has rich experience in Taiwan environmental management planning, toxic chemicals operational management planning, and chemical substance management analysis, etc. From 2001, she is specialized in all kinds of special projects, registration tracking and other practical studies under Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration (EPA). Among them, there are also toxic chemicals operation management projects, recycling and waste auditing management project, pharmacy and toxic chemicals permission, investigation, evaluation and management project, professional consultation on Taiwan New and Existing Chemical Substance Registration, etc. She participated in auditing of Taiwan’s chemical substance management regulations.
